My focus at Happy Great Day® is wellness, productivity, and style. I love sharing wallet-friendly tips on how to feel more joyful and live like royalty.  Right now, I’m busy getting inspo from high-energy, real-life female heroes who have taught me the importance of building a supportive network of people I cherish.

Mama once sent me a text after a rough day that put a smile back on my face. It said, "You don't hide your challenges. And you see pleasures and glamour in a simple life. You are a survivor." I certainly hope you'll come to think of me as a THRIVER. Since my first blog post in 2019, titled "We Wanna' Paw-Ty Again," life has taken some wild turns. I couldn't bear to delete photos of my mother, who passed away in 2021, my ex-husband (who is still a cherished friend), or Puppy Valen-Tino, who died from kidney failure. As I embrace this new chapter, I'll post updated photos, but I hold onto treasured memories of those three shining stars.  

 

Meanwhile, talk about a plot twist! — While Savannah, Georgia, and Beverly Hills, California, are still "home," I now reside in the breathtaking snowy mountains of Colorado Springs, Colorado. I had envisioned quiet times ahead. But as it turns out, John Lennon was spot on when he famously stated, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans." I only meant to take a short break from writing, but then I got preoccupied with responsibilities that piled up. Before I knew it, years had passed. I've learned countless profound lessons in resilience and a deeper gratitude for every blessing that crossed my path.

 

To the cherished friends who stood by me during my silence, thank you for your unwavering support. Your loyalty means the world to me. If you're new to this site, welcome. A spectacular adventure is just getting started!
